Coffee Planet is a real-life example of what can be achieved with a bit of discontent with the way things are. Proving there is always a better way of doing, saying or supplying something. We love coffee – the taste, the occasion and the ritual. We were tired, however, of having to try and enjoy our coffee in a totally middle-aged and traditional coffee shop environment.
Well if you don’t like something, change it. And that is exactly what we did. We went right back to the beginning, back to the source - we found out who was growing what and how we could create the awesome blends of coffee you can enjoy today. We even built our own Roastery and after trying every conceivable combination for what seemed an eternity, one day we did it - we hit flavour! It felt like we had struck oil. We had the formula. Now we could really go for it. It was incredibly exciting - we started exploring new ways to reach our consumers. “Wherever they are, we will be right there for themâ€, we said. You name an environment and we are in it – at home, in work, at a gas station convenience store, in our own stores at lunchtime. You’ll even find our coffee in hotels and restaurants. When you need it the most, Coffee Planet coffee is within reach. You see, we are a true ‘crop to cup’ coffee company and we’re proud of that. We source our beans directly from farmers around the world, blend them and roast them to make the best tasting coffee you will ever have drunk from a cup.
We want to spread our coffee universe far and wide, giving great coffee where previously there was none. Then we heard a shout from Pakistan: “Please, bring Coffee Planet here! Save us from bad coffee hell†– so we did. And the next stage of our Great Coffee Revolution begins… When something goes right for you, you get a buzz and we’re no different. In fact we live off it! That ‘dare to be different’ attitude is what pushes us forward – what keeps Coffee Planet turning if you like.
